Hi,
I'm considering getting an external enclosure and wanted to put in something like this:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
I'd like to get the most out of the drive and so was thinking of an eSATA solution. I have found an enclosure from Cooler Master called the X-Craft which offers USB 2.0 and eSATA. I've just got two questions:
1) Is the drive itself overkill for an external storage solution?
2) My mobo doesn't have eSATA however the X-Craft does come with an eSATA back-plate - is this something to enable eSATA on motherboards that lack the feature?
Thanks.
