Questions Regarding My New Build?

I have a few questions concerning my new computer build (which I am very proud of), okay:

1) Is it safe to leave the computer out of the case? I think it is possibly cooler, but I want to know how long it will be before dust acquires, and if I should leave the window on to help cool it (its right beside a window sill, and in England it's always cold xD)

2) Why the bloody hell is my memory 666hz?! I have 8GB of Corsair Vengeance Blu Ram, Clocked at 1600! is 666hz in my new build, according to CPU-Z?!

3) Can I go into MSCONFIG and tune the boot screen to use max cores (4) and max memory (8GB) my friend switched to 4cores on his i5 Laptop, and he got blue screened and replaced it.. I am scared if that happens with me, or did his just fry because it was a boiling laptop?

4) HW Monitor says my CPU is 34c Min and 49c Max, is that any good? I am using stock everything and I've heard people get this type of temperatures on hyper 212s and ****..?

5) Is there a site I can update EVERYTHING I have alltogether? Driver Reviver updated the USB, and the HD audio aswell as two other things but I had to update most of the other things; including mobo stuff, graphics card stuff, and I don't know if there are such things as processor drivers ;P

Thanks for viewing!

Additional Information:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 C3
HD 6870 DD XFX
ASUS M5A78L/USB3
8GB Vengeance Corsair Blu RAM Memory
Stock Everything

That's a myth. It's a debugging option and Windows uses all available cores by default.

1. it'll get dusty pretty quickly. even faster if you smoke near ur rig

2.you need to go into bios and enable xmp

3.what?

4. its fine.

5. gpu drivers are the only ones needing to be upgraded semi-regularly. if not, if it aint broke, dont fix it

RAM runs a twice the speed shown in CPUz. DDR = double data rate. It would seem your RAM is slightly underclocked at the moment, as it should be showing 800. You'd have to look in bios to see why. I think XMP is an intel thing, but I could be wrong.

I'd personally put the thing in a case for safety. You can buy test bench style things which keep everything on display but bolted down solidly. Dust is going to be an issue though.

Ok.

How long does it take to get dusty exactly..? quickly as in hours or days?

I've ordered my AeroCool Strike-X One so just some cheap case with soo many fan ports..

Oh and what do you want me to do for three days? Lock the beauty up? Or dismantle the beast untill I get the case.. I admit it does look like a monster; literally.
