Does the old and frail man wit the security coat who gets on my bus in the morning really work as a security guard? :confused: If so, how is he going to stop anyone when he can barely get off the bus without falling over?

I would say 5 inches on so....I once heard a surgeon said 5inches with a girth of about 2-3 centimetres as average size but dunno if it is true.

Iirc it is when you are hard. As the male wand can shrik considerably in size (spongy tissue) - take a look on a cold day and you will see what i mean... :p

What is light? Photons/EM waves.
What is sound? Small changes in density in the given medium (usually air).
What is mavity? We know what it does. It causes masses to accelerate towards each other. But do we know what makes that happen? We have ideas but we aren't sure. Usually it's thought of as distortion in space-time but scientists are still trying to find particles that cause it, with no success so far.

They have a good idea of how other forces work, they are caused by messenger particles. Electro-magnetism has photons, strong nuclear force has gluons and the weak nuclear force has W and Z bosons. These all have experimental evidence to indicate their existence, but so far no evidence has been found for the theorised gravitons.

I suppose it's true that we don't really know what any of these things are, but we have some pretty concrete ideas for most of them, and evidence to back them up. But mavity is still very much unknown.

Ridumentary (sp) / Crude condoms has been used for milenia since the advent of man. It is said to be well documented by egyption to use stuff to block their female anatomy to prevent pregnancy etc.....Iirc i beleive it was the french who first pioneered the proper condom hence why it is sometimes reffered to as "french letters"

OK why do have three lions on the england's coat of arm when lions are not indegenuos to this country?

I beileve (iirc) it has something to do with Testoterone - Males make them but a lot or excess can lead to balding while sometimes it is down to genetics. Afterall baldness is an inheritable trait. Women dont tend to go bald but there are some who secrete testoterone hormone and tend to lose their hair (cant remember the medical condition).
