Questions you've always wanted to asked...

These forums are my escape from work :)

What causes that "sleep" stuff that's in the corner of your eye when you wake up?

What design company does icraig work for(heard you mentioning you work for one before).

Who do you dislike the most on the forums?

I believe it is due to the tear fluid in your eye - act as a lubricant and lysozyme. All the dirt accumulate in your eyes are "washed out" when you sleep (so to speak)

I dont dislike anyone but i find to diagree with some particular member's post.

Do you believe in ghosts?

I'd like to say "no" thats stupid. But sometimes, just sometimes ... I SEE DEAD PEOPLE.

Question:
Why, how, and when did the human conscience appear. And what is the evolutionary advantage of being able to decide whether something is morally right or wrong.

Hmmm perhaps thats a bit heavy for a friday.

If a woodpecker lost it's beak would it just be a headbanger?

Why are Sainsburys split peas given a reseal tab when the only way you can open them is by tearing the packet rendering the tab useless?

and god...

A little more debatable. Still make believe in my opinion, but I can see the merit in the belief of a god. I don't for one second believe what I've read in the Bible. But I wouldn't like to discount the idea that we were created by something much higher than us, by something we can't understand, entirely.

At the moment, I believe that the universe was kind of created how scientists think it was, with a big bang, creating the universe and it's galaxies, and life has developed all across it, but due to the sheer size of it, life is scattered throughout the cosmos, and we're just one of millions of planets that harbour life.

I'm willing to back down on that though if we ever get evidence of a God.

What was there before the big bang? What made the big bang go bang if there was nothing there to begin with?

Is the universe really never ending?

Impossible to answer, but I would guess that the size of the universe is beyond our comprehension. Unless we become so much more as a species, I doubt in all our existence we will ever venture further than our own little solar system.

icraig, answer my question about the company. :p

I work for a very small company that specialises in two things, Computer Systems and Hardware | Website Solutions and Internet Technologies.

I'm the apprentice designer for the website solutions side.

It's not my company to plug, and we're classed as a competitor to OcUK so I'm not going to post a URL to our website. :)

A god? A random and beautiful chemical/nuclear reaction? Or maybe the big bang didn't exist at all, maybe the universe has always existed, and will continue to exist. Who knows. :o
