How did you arrive at that? Im sure a 2000cc engine will produce more unless am missing one of your usual comments.

I thought I'd give an answer that was as meaningful as the question.

More to the point, why would you want to have sex with a girl whilst she's having her period? Bloodbath!!!!!

Because some people are crazy, dirrty (in a good way) and unorthodox that they dont see what's wrong with it.

How many registered domain names exist on the net?

I don't know, but I would imagine hundreds of millions, perhaps a few billion?
I don't think a figure is known, just a very rough projection taken by looking at how many domains are registered per day since Nominet started.

Whats the longest ever domain name?

There are thousands of domain names that use the full 67 character limit.

To answer my own question :p

I will post a graph and a few quotes as soon as wikipidea starts to work again :p

Edit:

The fertile window

The length of the follicular phase — and consequently the length of the menstrual cycle — may vary widely. The luteal phase, however, almost always takes the same number of days. Some women have a luteal phase of 10 days, others of 16 days (the average is 14 days), but for each individual woman, this length will remain constant. Sperm survive inside a woman for 3 days on average, with survival time up to five days considered normal. A pregnancy resulting from sperm life of eight days has been documented.[6][7][8] The most fertile period (the time with the highest likelihood of sexual intercourse leading to pregnancy) covers the time from some 5 days before ovulation until 1-2 days after ovulation. In an average 28 day cycle with a 14-day luteal phase, this corresponds to the second and the beginning of the third week of the cycle.

If fertilization and pregnancy do not ensue, the uterus sheds the lining, culminating with menstruation, which marks the low point for estrogen activity. This manifests itself to the outer world in the form of the menses (also menstruum): essentially part of the endometrium and blood products that pass out of the body through the vagina. Although this is commonly referred to as blood, it differs in composition from venous blood. Menstrual cycles are counted from the beginning of menstruation, because this is an outside sign that corresponds closely with the hormonal cycle. Menses, or bleeding and other menstrual signs may end at different points in the new cycle.

Common usage refers to menstruation and menses as a period. This bleeding serves as a sign that a woman has not become pregnant.

So in conclusion to this learning i have discoverd if the girl is bleeding there is no egg left to be fertilized and therefore she cant get pregnant :p

Now off to clear the histry to avoid the birds and the bees talk if mum found out what i was looking at :o

How do broadcasters know how many people are tuning into a TV program?

E.g. when they say, 'Last night 6.2 million people watched Planet Earth.'

Can they tell who tunes in to the signal, or is it just an estimate based on surveys?

Iirc, estimates based on survey....

I think one way of getting ratings is they choose a certain number of people who they deem to be representative of a certain bracket, and they put boxes in their house that record what channels they watch (presumably they give them some incentive for having this box). Then they use that data to make their ratings statistics.

From your own quotes:
Sperm survive inside a woman for 3 days on average, with survival time up to five days considered normal. A pregnancy resulting from sperm life of eight days has been documented.
Using the time line in the graph, ovulation begins on day 13. If she was to have sex on the 7th, the sperm could last up until day 15. There is thus a chance of pregnancy.

The sky is blue because light hits the atmostphere and gets scattered...

there is a lack of "blue" light present, and thus deceives you to believe the sky is really blue.
