Quick 5870 question

Does this card exhaust heat in two directions through the case and cards rear ducts or just straight out of the case?

Out the case and out the side, the ports at the back of the card serve no real purpose.

The red/orange ducts are extra intakes, not exhausts, so all the heat should be pumped out of the case.

Yeah convential towers have intake fans at the bottom front of the case so there are 2 vents on the edge of the card to presumably boost coling efficiency.

5870 has a rather nice stock heatsink compared to previous ATI cards.

it still dumps air out the back of the case it is smaller than the last gen too
