Hello, just doing a fresh install of Windows on my main machine and have a simple question.
It's an INTEL P35 chipset mobo with two hard-drives set-up as standard SATA drives. The first drive is partitioned C:System and D
ump and the 3rd is E:My Documents.
I have slipstreams the AHCI drivers into my WinXP installation disk and am just about to nuke the first drive and set-up Windows using AHCI.
I'm not sure if I need to do anything to my second drive that just contains my personal data? can I just leave it and it will work fine from the fresh AHCI windows or do I need to move the data from it and format it before AHCI will work?
Lol thanks in advance!
