So, how many BHP does it take to get an almera to 100mph?

Apparently it does take corners without falling off the track too..

i have an almera 1.8 thingy at the moment, its stupidly quick but the problem is getting the grip down, and the thing handles like sh** can anyone say understeer!
 
I remember the Nissan Cherry Turbo; made your eyes water that did. Almera looks good (dynamically not visually).
 
Hmm, 12.32 to 100 seems mighty quick considering its got 160 ATW and sod all torque...... Does it have nothing inside it and half the chassis ground to 1mm thick? Id have expected mid 14's.

i believe it weighs in at about 980/990 kg's , also dont know the gradient either.. but im presuming it to be fairly flat:)

he also has;

n15 VZR N1 LSD gearbox which probably helsp

Either way, that's very rapid for something like that and a nice bit of kit! Considering that your standard LT1 Corvette (auto) will do 0-100 in 11.6 seconds with 300BHP, that's a great achievment! (OK, so the Corvette will continue accelerating way past that but still!)

@Kieron, ya this was posted on g20m but i know he goes on NPOC etc and Sr20 too!!

edit in the post he says he recks his speedo is out and clocks himself as 0-60 in 6~ and that he also takes WRX's down at the old 1/4 mile...
