Thought i'd check in here before i take my car to a garage, see if anyone has any idea a likely cause.
Basically took my car out this afternoon and after about 4 miles i noticed a squeel coming from the passenger side (front) this got worse over the course of the next 15 miles or so, even at 50Mph it was still squeeling like mad so took it easy home on some slower side roads.
Jacked the car up when i got home and free spun the front left wheel, now the squeel is coming from somewhere near the gearbox and inner cv joint. Anyone have any ideas on a likely cause.
car is a 06 Zafira and i already had to have a new gearbox 15 months ago so if it's anything to do with that should i be looking to get the work done for free (gearbox was supllied and fitted at a vauxhall main dealer)
