Quick bit of help; job application

Just filling in a job application for a marketing role, and one of the specifications for a succesful candidate is "Experience of liaising with suppliers".

What does this even mean!?! Is it suppliers to your company, or suppliers of your product to the public? Help!!!

So you know how to get the best deals and negotiate the work for the marketing material on time?

The person specification is their perfect candidate for the job. They will know that almost nobody will meet this spec 100% so just put down your nearest relevant experience of dealing with suppliers (i.e. learned about it on a course or work experience or whatever).

Use examples other than work - e.g organised a surprise bday party, liaised with catering suppliers on the best cost for amount and quality of food supplied.

Awesome, cheers guys (and girl, I assume?); I've actually had some experience of organising business seminars, so am using that as my main assault on that part of the specification
