Quick BMW Question....

Just a quickie, Am I correct in assuming that all BMWs are rear wheel drive? If not, is the 525D (on an 02 plate).

Some have 4WD/AWD in the US I believe also. The BMW Mini is the only FWD car they make.

There are indeed 4wd versions of the 3-series cars. Only available abroad though. They are branded 330ix etc.

Wish mine was AWD sometimes! Totally forgot how cold it was out there tonight, had the back end out by mistake (not going at all fast luckily) and mounted my front tyre on the kerb :rolleyes:

Do they still make 4wd 3 and 5 series BMWs? Back in the mid 90s my best mates Dad had a 525ix (which we thought was the quickest thing on the planet) but I'd not seen any ix badges on new BMWs so I thought they'd been discontinued, that was until I was in Belgium last week when I saw four ix badged cars :eek:

They still make them, just not for the UK market.
