Abit IP35-E (£64.61)
GeIL 2GB PC6400C4 800MHz (£35.24)
E4500 Allendale 2.20GHz (£76.36)

Total inc shipping and the rest £185.91

Can anyone suggest any improvements for this specification, without budging on price ?

Regards, Matt.

GA-P35-DS3R (£76.36)
GeIL 2GB PC6400C4 800MHz (£35.24)
E2180 2.00GHz (£55.21)
Tuniq Tower 120 (£35.24)

Total (without shipping): £202.05 Probably £215 with shipping.

E2180 should budge to 3Ghz easily (if you are OC'ing of course).

Will the E2180 overclock further than the E4500 ?

Also, why the DS3R over the IP35-E ?

Does the Abit have options for overclocking ? If it does, it'll be fine surely, it's rated to 1333.

They would both overclock the same, the only difference is that the E4500 has 1Mb more of L2 cache which wont make much difference and is clocked slightly higher than the E2180, think of it as a pre-overclocked E2180.

Its just a preference that i'd choose the DS3R over the IP35-e, i've not used an Ip35-e before however it is often spec'd for people who do not want to overclock but it should be alright for overclocking judging by the P35 chipset it has.
