Hello.
I've always thought of myself as an Apple lover and although I do love them I'm finding myself using our windows laptop more and more for playing games etc and after looking through some of the stunning builds on here fancy building my own PC.
I'm not a hardcore gamer in any shape or form and currently play stuff like SimCity and sim type games
Our Dell laptop will play SimCity on medium settings however gets extremely hot after a while and I don't think its too happy playing it.
I will also be using it for general web browsing/storing FLAC music and putting photo's on.
Budget isn't massive, I did set myself around £600.
I already have a 2tb hard drive which I'll be using. I'd like a 64gb Crucial M4 or Samsung EVO just for the OS but couldn't find on on OC. I'm also not sure whether to go with windows 7 or 8. I would also like to add a graphics card but hoping to get the system up and running and maybe next pay day add something for around £200 that'll last me a while rather than get a cheapo one now.
I do like Intel but happy to look at other mobo/cpu combo's.
I don't want to compromise on the case unfortunately although appreciate it takes up a good bit of my budget.

Thanks for taking the time to look.
Mark
