Quick Citylink Question :)

Hey,

I got an email on Saturday saying my goods have been dispatched, on their site the post is not trackable and i was wondering if i should expect the post today or am i safe to go out?

afaik the citylink system updates in real time as parcels are scanned when picked up.. though it may only do this once they get back to pickup depot.

I'd ring them as it's weird it's not on their system...

Should this email be received on a weekend tracking will be available Monday (Tuesday on Bank Holiday Weekends) early to late afternoon.

So it should be updated this afternoon sometime, but i was wondering if i should wait in or go out. Im not sure if i would get it today or not.

If you go out, leave a note on the door saying "Citylink - Please leave any parcels behind side gate" (Or where ever you want it left) and sign it.

They always leave things for me, no matter what courier it is

Yep, im going out

Its 12:48 now and no updates on the site; so they can leave it wherever they like aslong as i get it

edit: just seen a citylink van pass so ran back, wasnt for me! haha.

Checked the site, it has updated. Due tomorrow!

City link don't pickup on weekends from memory.

Same thing is happening to me. Shipped saturday for delivery today. No tracking available.

My items were ordered Friday before 4pm too.

@Werewolf : If that's the case then why does OcUk allow you to select Monday as a delivery date when ordering Friday?

City Link don't like to work on Saturdays. I ordered some stuff from somewhere else for delivery on Saturday, at 11.30 I eventually rang the local depot and they told me it was due to be delivered Saturday but they had the goods. After some umming and ahhing, they eventually sent a van out for me. On the box when it turned up was Saturday 12.00. The lazy scrotes.

The vast majority of couriers do not collect Saturday for Monday delivery. In fact, I think it may only be TNT that do this (I'll try and find out for sure)
