Quick clamping question

Say for example you needed to park somewhere quite badly and the place in question you're guaranteed to get clamped if you park in it.

If you were to remove all 4 wheels, stick your car on axle stands and put the wheels in the locked car, what would the clampers then do?

If you had to park somewhere quite badly that would suggest urgency and therefore would you really be in a position to remove the wheels?
