Hey all, just got a quick question about my 2007FP.

I'm looking into picking up an XBOX360 or PS3. I will want to connect whichever one I end up with to my Dell 2007FP screen.

I have a mate with an XBOX360, and when he connects his up to his HDTV, he uses 5 connectors (3 for picture, 2 for sound). However, looking at my screen, it only appears to have a single connector, marked "composite".

Excuse the noobiness, but how would I connect a console to my 2007FP in order to get HD? As I don't see how it would work, and some searching/reading manuals brings up very little.

Thanks in advance.

The best way is to get hold of the microsoft vga cable thats what I use on my 2007 and it gives a cracking HD picture

The lead with 5 connections is component btw but the 2007WFP doesn't have component input. Don't confuse component and composite, composite can't do HD and is below RGB scart in quality.

As said above, get the 360 vga lead, but the official MS one which has a better PQ.

Don't know much about the PS3 but presumably a HDMI-DVI cable would do the job, but it would use your only DVI input.
