I have sold 3 items on ebay to the same buyer. I stated that pick up was the only method.... the person has paid for the items, pretty quickly... within 48hours. I sent off my address ready for a collection.
they message me back asking for the address again as they have lost it. so I re-send the address...
I have since heard nothing from the person, and that was over 2 weeks ago now!

I have sent multiple messages asking them to collect, because in fairness, the items are taking up my limited room!

what can I do in this situation?

You are lucky they haven't collected.

Paying via paypal and then collecting is a common scam. After collecting they complain to paypal they haven't received the goods. Paypal then ask you for proof of signed delivery (by a courier, not you) and you obviously don't have any.

You lose the money and items.

I'm not saying this is what is happening here, but I'd refund the money and try to get a mutual withdrawal from the transactions on ebay. For future sales, if you allow collection, then payment must be with cash.

I was not aware of this scam =/
but what can I do if the person wont make contact?

I'd refund the money. Then open a dispute within ebay saying you cannot contact buyer. After a while, the transaction should be cancelled and you receive final value fees back.

Or I suppose you can try to hold on to the money as long as you can (i.e. until they open a paypal dispute of unreceived goods, which they may not). But that would be immoral.

Refund buyer.

Open a dispute.

If the Seller responds and does still want the item, they can come to you (as per original spec of the auction) and pay cash.

If the Seller doesn't respond or decides to accept the closure of the agreement between you, you get your fees credited back to you and you can list again.
