Quick Fan question

Why would sleeving one of my zalman case fans cause it to undervolt?

Is it that I've probably not reseated the pin properly, or could I have damaged the wire?

I think you may have answered your own question there. Take it all apart and re-seat the pins.

You may be running the 12v to the tach wire instead of ground or something.
