Good choice, because there is a MS bulletin, that tells you that a Quick Format can later go wrong, although it only happened to me once, you end up some time in the furture not being able to boot up as of 3 files needed are not found, you can temp fix by getting files from another PC and putting on a floppy or CD and setting the PC to boot 1ST to the floppy or CD, then it works as normal, only fix is a full format, this is esp important on a new RAW HDD more so than one you are reformating, a quick format would not really delete any files and wont rewright a new filesystem, it just tells the HDD its empty.
