I don't think there is an anti-English bias but there is probably a bias for international competitions like the World Cup.
There's been plenty of top class players in the Premiership over the years but it's hard to argue with the likes of Ronaldo, Figo and Zidane in other leagues winning it as well.

Ive never thought of this but does anyone think that the politics comes into play, thats why england arnt so lucky in football as well, we all know we basically lose song contests and all them for our politics and not because of out performance in whatever it is.
