Quick Hard Drive question.

Is it safe to use a HD on it's side? instead of the usuall flat position? So the disk would be spinning upwards instead of sidewards.. if you get what I mean ;P

Yeah, not a problem. Vertical is the usual orientation for server drives, that way they can easily be hot swapped in and out of the chassis.
