I just ordered a Seagate 500GB 7200rpm 6GB/s drive which im planning on using as a games & media drive when I receive it but I just thought to myself, how am I going to do this?

Would I uninstall steam and all the games within, redownload the installer and set it to install to the other drive? plus the other drive wont have the same setup as my C:\ drive, e.g. Program files, windows, etc. so where will it all come from?

I'm so new to multiple HDD usage..

Ah I done this recently what you basically have to do is if you go to your steam folder then move all the steam apps folder to say your desktop then uninstall steam and reinstall it this time putting it on the new HDD then move your steam apps folder back to the steam folder on your new hard drive and it should say that you ain't got them but it for you click play it will let you play them, you also can put the steam folder on the root of the HDD or just make a folder called games which I have done which stores all my games even non steam ones but you must leave your save games where they are or they won't get picked up. :)
