I am at a house trying to set up a Netgear router. I was hoping it would go easy but i have just found out that the router needs a seperate Modem also connected to it. The router model is WGT624 v3, the existing modem connected at the moment is a USB one so it cannot be connected into the router, but there is a Talk Talk modem lying beside me and it has the ethernet connection that i think is needed. The model of the modem is SmartAX MT882. Is it possible to connect the talk talk modem to the router even though the guy is not on Talk talk, he is on tiscali....
Also if it is possible are there any drivers i need for the modem as he doesnt have the CD and i have briefly searched but couldnt find anything
