I was messing about with resolutions in ccc and changed one for my tv and straight away it showed up as being unsupported which I knew:o

I clicked apply by mistake intead of cancel and now when i boot into windows in normal mode I get no display after the windows logo.

I can get into windows in safe mode but I dont have the option to change resolution back to what it was,

How can I fix my problem??

Cheers

There might be an easier solution. However if you boot into safe mode, remove drivers, restart and reinstall graphics drivers it should correct itself.

Where is your cable plugged into your Graphics card or Motherboard integrated graphics? not sure but if you can get into windows using the motherboards graphics then maybe uninstall CCC and reinstall then connect again this may solve? Meh an idea i suppose

Can you not just set your display resolution back to one that works whilst in safe mode and then re-boot as normal?

Or press F8 then rather than going into safe mode try "Enable VGA Mode".

it just gives one resolution, so you cant alter it to apply it. windows loads normally but because the resolution that is set in ccc isnt supported by my old tv i just get an error message on the screen saying mode is unsupported.
