Ok my dad is borrowing my car on Sat, and as he doesnt live with me he is not on the insurance, now do you know if i add him to my admiral policy for a day will i be charged an admin fee, or is day insure the way forward.

Cheers. :)

I think Admiral would charge quite a bit, even for a day. Which is strange given adding a driver when you take out the policy can actually reduce the premium.

Thats the impression I got when I was with them.

Give them a ring, failing that ring dayinsure.

I'd estimate they'd want more than dayinsure for a day's insurance though.

Note that DOC is only 3rd party. Dayinsure is the way forward - that way any insurance claims will go against his name.
Third party is all that is needed. I would have had my MR2 TPFT if the difference between that and fully comp wasnt a silly small amount. :p
