Quick Insurance Question

Don't want to discuss the performance issues etc but quick question:

Im insured with elephant FC, I've been told you dont need to declare panel filter replacements, no matter what brand ? Is this correct ?
Would adding a cold air feed to the stock airbox require declaring ?
