quick ipad question

what do you guys do between charging the ipad and loading it into itunes?

it doesnt charge while connected to the pc right? so you need to change it between the PC and the mains charger if you want to add anything to it?

has anyone come up with a solution to this? it seems it will charge while connected to the Mac's rather than PCs

this is really annoying for me because i need to have the mains charger in another room lol

My iPad says it isn't charging when plugged into my computer but it does charge at a very slow rate though.

Yes apparently if no apps are 'open' it will charge when plugged into PC. I guess that's where wi-fi sync could be useful!

I charge mine overnight plugged in to my MBP - charges fine.

Takes longer to charge via USB though.

I found that aswell however if you have an Asus mobo there's an application called Asus AI charger that dose something to allow charge over usb from pc

Several motherboard manufacturers released "patches" to allow extra power to be supplied to the USB ports so charging was possible, for example Gigabyte use something called On/Off Charge.
