quick iPad restore question

iPad 3 on 6.0 beta
im going to put 5.1.1 back on it via restore
if i back up then restore will all my layout / folders exist as they are now in 6.0 or will i have to rearrange them all again ?

I believe the layout is saved in the backup. But wait until someone else can back me up with that, I'm not 100%

Certainly, when I updated my iPhone recently and restored from iCloud, it saved the layout...

That is the problem with playing about with things.

You can't restore from a backup been made higher than the iOS revision restored. Best to be clean anyway.
