Quick iPhone upgrade question

My dad has two phones, his personal one and an office mobile that is used for making mobile to mobile office calls.

He was given the option with Orange to upgrade the office mobile to an iPhone 4 which he has done but he was wondering whether it's possible to use the iPhone 4 as his personal phone instead?

Will the iPhone come locked to the office mobile number in some way? Are the sim cards suitable for each phone?

Should be able to just swap the SIM's over I'd imagine!

An Orange iPhone 4 will almost certainly be locked to the Orange network, so his other SIM would need to be on Orange for it to work.

Also, the iPhone 4 uses a micro-SIM, and that is smaller than a regular SIM card. Orange will be able to give you one/send you one if you go into a store or call them.

Yeah both phones are on Orange.
