quick k800i question - camera shutter

hey peeps... just a quick question about the shutter...

i noticed when i first (ever) openend the shutter, a fraction of a second later an inner shutter within the circular bit opened which i thought was pretty cool... however i have never seen this shutter since so i'm guessing its got stuck or something - anyone else "lost" there inner shutter?

does it still take pictures?

if it does, then the shutter is working correctly, it won't take a photo if it wasn't.

it may have actually been jammed the first time you used it, but it freed its self.

if the pictures it takes are over exposed, not as you think they should be, etc, take it in for repair.

Don't worry, they all do that. No idea why.
