Quick K850i question…

Hey guys,

I’ve just noticed a new icon has appeared on my screen? I might been common across SE phones, but seeing as though I’m new to SE phones in general, and I can’t find anything about it in the manual – I thought I’d ask here

It’s the one with the red cross on it – it’s just suddenly appeared?

Hey guys,

I saw my mates K800i today and noticed that when his phone is idle it displays the time/whether the keypad is locked or not and if he has missed any calls/messages etc.

My K850i just goes completely black when you leave it and you can’t see a thing? I didn’t really notice it until I saw my mate’s phone today and now I want that feature on mine!

Does the K850i have this option

Okay I think I've found how to get the screen I want: I press 'volume up' on the side of the phone when it is in sleep mode or whatever?

But is there anyway I can get that screen to appear all the time though when the phone is not in use

not as far as i know, i found this when i moved from a w850i to the k850i i think its because of the new black screen, they have left the clock off because you wouldn't be able to see it any way not with out the use of the back light and you wouldn't want that running all day as the battery wouldn't last a day.

what they should have done was make the phone bleep every 2 minutes or something to let you know that there is a missed call or a text.
