Quick maths question - I'm not good at maths

Is there a shortened singular form of the word?
I have never heard it used outside its plural form until you invented the word, suggesting it to be the correct singular.
Although it ends in an s, is the word not a base plural and singular form?
Sheep doesn't become shee because you want to singularise it.

The question is confusing but it depends on what perspective you're looking at it from.

If you were given an item worth 460 for which you had to pay 50 to get it and you received the entire 380 then your return is

380 / 50 = 7.6x your money, or 760%.

If you mean what proportion of that return is yours then its:

50/510 = 9.8% contribution from you multiplied by 380 = 37.25 to you. Which is a loss of 12.75. In this case, both you and the contributor have lost money.
