Just got my new rig, with the 2070 Super, and noticed in the Nvidia control Panel, Set Up G-Sync, it had ticked, Enable G-Sync, G-Sync compatible, and Enable for Full Screen mode, selected under 1. Apply The Following Changes , so i switched that to Windowed and Full screen mode.
Now, do i also have to tick, under 3. Display Specific Settings (my monitor is displayed under 2 correctly, its the BenQ EX3501R, which is seemingly G-Sync compatible), Enable Settings For The Selected Display Model, too.
As ive been seeming to be stuck in 60hz, even though when i set the resolution and Hz setting, in the Nvidia Control Panel, to their correct settings, 3440x1440p 100Hz.
Noticed by my mouse not being silky smooth, and stuttering, but now ive ticked under 3. Enable Settings For The Selected Display Model too, it has now gone to 100Hz, as mouse, dragging windows about etc... gone silky smooth, no stuttering.
Thanks.
Don't have a clue about Nvidia now, as ive not been on them since the 8800s, its all changed
EDIT: although thinking about it, that might not have anything to do with the Hz.
When i look under Windows Settings, Advanced Display Settings (im now on 10
), its got my Hz as 99.
Weird.
