It's not for me, it's for my mum so gaming is not important!!!

If gaming isn't an issue wouldn't the one that looks best or costs less be better? Kinda hard to give advice since you will notice no difference in image quality if its just for general use so either go for the cheaper or the better looking one if money isn't an option. I know its not helpful but theres not much advice to give.
