Just a mega quick question... I'm filling in a form for a visa and there's a question asking where my passport was issued. How would I find this out?

I know it was England but I'm not sure if this is accurate enough. The only thing I can see on my passport is: "Code of issuing state: GBR".

Any ideas?

Hmm, well i'm also applying for an Australian visa and they have the same field. On the Australian visa website it says to use the code under the 'authority' section in your passport. In my case this is UKPA, do you think I should use this in my other visa form, (for Thailand btw) or just put UK?

Well I've successfully been accepted for my Australian working visa!!! :D Got a response immediately, very impressed with the whole process actually.

Thanks for your help guys:)
