Quick passport question

My passport is about to run out, it is valid until August 09. Problem is I am travelling to Luton with my work next week. Question is is the passport valid till the 31st or does it become invalid on the 1st of the month?

I may need to go through the fast track system

It will be valid to an exact date printed on the passport.

Also if you want to goto some countries they require a minimum of six months validity left on your passport.

Yes. Any form of photo ID.

Yeah, You'll need photo ID for air travel.

Travelling by land, I don't think you need any ID at all.

Before I get slated yes I realise i don't need to go through imigration control to get from Scotland to England but I do need official ID to board the plane

Check the small print on the airlines website. Some airlines have stopped accepting Driving Licenses and require a passport for ID.

A driver's license will be fine, you don't need a passport when travelling internally.
