Quick Paypal Question!

If I was to send somebody £50 via paypal and I marked it as a gift would they get the full £50 or would they be charged by Paypal and only get like £45??

I know its probably an easy answer but I have only ever used paypal once through ebay.

If you send it as a gift you pay the fee, so you'll be paying X amount (that's the fee) + the £50 gift.

Basically you pay the charge instead of the recipient.

When sending a gift it gives you the option to pay the fee or let the recipient pay it.

You pay then its £50 + fee.
They pay then its £50 - fee.
