Hi folks,

Ordered a new tap to fit tomorrow which comes with "2 x ½" BSP female flexible braided hose" which I are 36cms in length each.

The current set-up is as follows (tap copper pipe - flexi hose - pipework), the distance between the top of the cupboard and the fixed copper pipe is > 36cms. Is there a way to connect these braided hoses to the flexi-hoses already in place, or do I just need to buy longer hoses?

Many thanks, and a Happy New Year to you all!

From what I can see, I would say you either could buy longer flexi tails for your taps, or put something like this into the end of the flexi you currently have, and ten attach your new flexi pipes between those and the new tap. It's not the prettiest of solutions, but will be amongst the easiest, as it means you won't need to change anything before the isolation valve.
