Hi All,

Just bought one of the OCZ vertex drives thats on offer.

Gonna install Win 7 64 bit, do I need to enable this AHCI mode in my BIOS.

Anything else I need to know?

Yeah, enable AHCI in your BIOS to get the most out of it. I've also used this to tweak my Windows settings.

One thing that I'd do is run Atto Diskbenchmark to make sure I'm getting the correct speeds.

The only other thing left to do is enjoy the speed :)

Thanks for your answer Virt, ill use the tweaker as well once installed.

Saw a lot of info on do's and don't so it got a bit confusing tbh, saw that I need to diasble/not use defrage etc.

Anyway, so its enable AHCI, install Win & and then use the tweaker
