im looking to get a new psu as my old one isnt cutting it with my x1900.
im looking at the tagan 530w, either the easycon or the non modular one.
however, ive seen this in the spec sheet for it and now im worried it still wont be enough to power my card.

the red box is where id like you to look, is that the combined 12v+ output with both rails together in one rail?
the psu ive got right now is 18a and 15a on the 12c rails so i need to get something with more power but just need to check it all out before i buy :)

396 Watts, at 12V alone. Even a Quad SLI (2 x Nfvidia 7950) would only be drawing around 300W peak, and probably quite a bit less 'average'. Unless the X1900's are insanely power hungry, I doubt that would be an issue.

Depends really on what the rest of the system is using though. But I doubt you would need more even if you were building a Crossfire system.

im not after more watts, im after more amperages on the 12v rails.
ive got 33a between the 2 on my psu right now and ive been seeing people having some problems with this amount of amps and a x1900.

i only run one of everything else. 1 singlecore cpu,1hdd,1dvd drive etc

The PSU will be fine, there are sometimes problems with split-rail PSUs and dual card systems but the Tagans can be made to run as single rail either manually or automatically if there is too much of a current drawn from one rail.

Oh and adding the rails isn't just as simple as 18A + 15A = 33A, it is probably more like 26-28A at a guess, you might notice that Tagan has two 20A rails but only counts as 33A combined. I'd still go for it, it is a good PSU and easily capable of powering your X1900 :)
