quick q re overclocked cpu

just a quickie


i am planning on taking my cpu out for a clean ( is a clocked opty )

do i need to reset cmos before putting it back in or am i good to go after clean and reapplication of arctic silver

You should be ok just dropping it back in, but some motherboards will detect it as a CPU change and reset your BIOS settings regardless.
