Quick question - 3 DIMMs in Threadripper mb?

Evening chaps, just a quick one.

Will 3 DIMMs work ok on a Threadripper motherboard for a few days?

I need to take some working ram out to help diagnose a problem on another PC but only one DIMM is accessible with the big fan cooler installed and I'd rather not go through the rigmarole of removing that if I don't need to.

Yean works fine but in triple channel so lose some performance ..
