quick question about 2007WFP/2407WFP

I am planning to buy either of these two monitors (actually I want one for christmas!), to use alongside my Samsung SyncMaster 913N LCD (19", NOT widescreen).

I'd like the new monitor to be exactly the same height as my current monitor, so they don't look funny working together. Which one will match? Or will neither match perfectly?

Pics of both standing next to a similar 19" TFT would be nice

I suspect neither will match perfectly! I don't know how the height of the 19" screen compares to a 20.1" or 24" WS monitor but assuming they did match, you have the stands to consider. If the stands are different heights this would no doubt throw it off.

the 24" is probably about the same vertical size as a 20" 4:3 aspect ratio monitor. If you go to Dell's site it has a TFT selector at the top of the page. If you flick between the 20" and 24" you'll see the difference in height is fairly small. So... neither will match up particularly well.

I just measured my Dell 2007WFP and its about 31cm tall including the bezel and the actual screen size is about 27cm which is pretty much bang on with the same size of my 17" which is 32cm including the bezel and the screen is about 27cm too. So I think the 2007WFP is out, you'd have to measure the height of your 19".
