Quick question about a fan controller.

I'm a little bit lost when it comes to amps and watts so can anyone answer this for me please.

Can i,with the use of a couple of splitters use 6 x 1450rpm gentle typhoons on this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BB-002-LP&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=189 ?

I'm not sure, however I think that you might not get full power for all your fans. Don't take my word for it though

If you beleive Sycthe's website (and why wouldn't you) the 1450rpm fan is rated at 0.049A.

0.049A x12V = 0.588W.

As each channel on the fan controller can supply 20W you can, in theory, run 34 fans on each

Xilence Red Wings are supposed to be 0.84W and Scythe S-FLEX 120mm 1200rpm 1.2W so 0.588W sounds a little low but you have 20W to supply 2 fans so all should be OK.

As already said above should be fine, 2 120mm fans should never max out a 20 W channel. I was working it out the other day for my vipers which are apparently just over 2 watts which you could still run 9 fans on on channel.

Yeah on paper it looked like there wouldn't be an issue but i didn't want to trust my judgement on it though
