I'm just eyeing up a potential upgrade at the moment (still not going to happen for a little while so any new cards that are coming out should be out
), but I have always gone nvidia because the drivers have caused me less problems. I've always thought of ati's asbeing a bit tacky and generally not working as well.
Question is, is this still true? Who's drivers are better at the moment? Reading these forums there is plenty of moaning about nvidia and the support for the 8 series. Is this all vista related because I can accept they will be behind with vista support or are there still problems in xp (32 bit or 64 bit)?
Is my reason for avoiding ati (poor drivers) now no longer the case and if anything I should be using it to avoid nvidia?
Cheers,
Ric.
