Quick question about Lambda Sensors

So, I need the 2 Lambda sensors on my car replaced along with the cat.

It's a mk1 2000 Ford Focus 1.8 petrol.

Are the 2 Lambda sensors pre and post cat actually different parts? On eurocarparts, some are listed as "In front of the catalyst" and others "After catalyst". So I will need one of the in front of catalyst and one of the after catalyst sensors, right?

And will I be alright with these two cheap ones, given that this is probably the last MOT I will get it through?:

Thanks!

I am not familiar with the Focus, but going from my car, the two sensors tend to be slightly different.

One will plug into the Cat and the other usually around the manifold area in the engine bay. Also on mine only the original OEM sensor or one made by particular mfg work, no others work, so it might be worth checking on Focus forums to see if yours take only particular types of brand or model.

I use NTK/NGK too, it's the only that works on my car apart from an OEM spec Denso made one.

ECP don't seem to stock NGK, so I would get the part number from the ngk website for the Focus and buy it from somewhere like a reputable ebay seller.

Thanks for the advise guys - just went with FAE ones in the end as they were the cheapest in stock in my local store. Just needed it to get it through this MOT (not expecting to have the car by next year) and they have done just that, emissions down and all passed :)

Probably a bit late now, But the "rear" lambda sensor is only for monitoring purposes. It isn't "needed" for fuel control. If emissions are your only concern then it is only the front one (And/or Cat) that you "need" to replace.

Too late to the party but Orionaut wrote what I was going to put anyway.
It's the first Lambda sensor that tells the ECU what to do, the second one is there just to say "hey, the cat's working/not working"
