Yea, Replace it with the IO shield that come with your motherboard.
To remove it, place your finger on the outside near the edges and push firmly inwards and it'll pop right out. Just reverse the procedure for the new one.
Various beliefs on this but either a blob the size of a grain of rice or spread the blob out over the die with a blade,stanley or single edge razor

found getting the cables tidy difficult as the power supply is upside down on the bottom and so the little space for the cables is on the wrong side. seems like a mess to me!
one other thing, my Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache HDD is not compatible with 6GB/s is it?
