Quick question about RAID

So I recently found another Hard drive by the same manufacturer, same size (250gb) and very similar model.
My Current HDD:
Western Digital WD2500JS-00MHB0
The one I found:
Western Digital WD2500JD-22HBB0

So I'm wondering if I can put these 2 into RAID 0. Or would it be JBOD?
Also I presume I need to format both and set it up as RAID in the BIOS, not sure how to get to the RAID menu though (Abit QuadGT IX38). Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

You can put unmatched drives into RAID0 without any great hassle although the two you note are pretty similar - same capacity, same cache, same platter density. In fact I'm struggling to work out what the difference is!

The RAID BIOS will deal with the drives, there's no special preparation required other than backing up anything you need to keep on them. It'll be Ctrl+I to get into the RAID BIOS but the option won't be available until you put the SATA controller into RAID mode in the main BIOS.
