Quick question about RAM prices

Consoles prices rising too, as everything else.
As the economy goes, soon the government will manage to bankrupt some businesses with plenty of hardware to flood the market

steam is integrated into the xbox. so you just play the xbox with your games on steam same as pc. no difference. if there is full mouse and keyboard support for gaming why would you have a pc ? we will see when they out .

now they got used to the AI or whatever price excuses i wouldnt expect them to drop again tbh.

I'll wait and see, but how are Microsoft going to make money out of if they just let you game on Steam for free? I'm in no rush to upgrade anytime soon anyway

It seems the next Xbox will be windows 11 based and all the typical revenue stream plus Xbox live.

Each time a hardware price spike happens it never seems to return to previous levels. High RAM prices are here to stay

yeh like high gpu prices after the crypto stuff

GPU's have constantly seen demand for other non gaming reasons since the crypto stuff, being used for AI before the data centers went into overdrive.
Definitely an element of MSRP price resetting though! After all, we were "happy" to pay 2x or 3x the old prices.

Are people buying gpus for elevated prices this time around though? At previous high prices, you couldn't actually find stock, even if you wanted to buy. During mining people just paid whatever due to the fact you could just make it back. The stock was gone, people were actually buying at that price.

This time around, everything is plentiful, just highly priced, seems people aint biting this time.
