Quick question about the DS3

just got a quick question about install drivers on a DS3

on the gigabyte DS3 do i need to f6 in xp setup for sata drivers?

I didn't when I installed SP2 on a Seagate 7200.10.

I did but only because I was using two drives in a RAID1. If you have a single drive the BIOS sorts it out into an IDE-like sequence with the optical drives.
